About Jonathan

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

-Mark Twain

I'm comfortable in saying that if you combine following Jesus Christ with the above saying by the great Mr. Twain, you'd get a pretty good formula of how I try to live.  Simply put:  I'm a dreamer and a risk-taker.  God wired me to take a different route in life and challenge the norm.  I don't always succeed and stay true to this mentality but I firmly believe we were created to do great things and live dangerously, all for Jesus Christ.  Some (not all) may believe entering into a life of following Christ is committing to a life of conservatism, laws, and obligations.  I couldn't disagree more.  However, we'll never know until we say "yes" will we?  I like to believe God knows my heart, what I love, and what I treasure.  Why would a God who loves me steer me differently?  I fail daily, but I was created for Him.  So that's what my life mission is:  be a joy to Him.  That's a definition of success to which I'd like to tie myself.

I love to travel.  I'm a family man.  My biggest outlets are photography, music, and movies.  I like to share all of these because I like people to enjoy what I enjoy.  That's where friendships start right? I like those too. I'm also fascinated by the constant change that life brings.  I graduated from Anderson University in 2008 with a B.A. in Psychology and Business Administration.  I'm neither a psychologist or a business administrator.  I did a PhotogenX DTS in Kona Hawaii in April 2010.  This was the single most life-changing event in my lifetime.
